Please paste that into your question. I installed Ubuntu but to my surprise it won’t connect to any network, wired or not. It is my assumption that no network cards are being recognized because Ubuntu is telling me there are no network devices available. Email Required, but never shown. But Ubuntu should have it in the kernel.

My laptop would be pretty slow with Ubuntu.

How are you determining that no network cards are recognised? It didn’t seem to recognize any network cards at all on my laptop.

Dell Latitude D Where can I find the tarball? Distro Ubuntu Development Release. But Ubuntu should have it in the kernel.

I plugged an ethernet cable into it, and for some reason the network manager was not picking it up. I installed Ubuntu but to my surprise it won’t connect to any network, wired or not.
